A little girl battles lethal heat while her father ignores her cries.
Adrian walks away from his parked car on a blistering summer day to join his childhood sweetheart Stacy and her son Lucas, leaving his daughter Esther locked inside. The engine dies and the air conditioning fails, sending the temperature soaring toward lethal levels. Esther battles encroaching heatstroke, staying conscious just long enough to dial her father, but Adrian hangs up without listening. With her tablet battery fading, she manages one final video call to her mother Claire, pleading for rescue before the screen goes black.
